AC Inverter Control For TRANSTAINER Cranes

The AC vector control inverters combined with a PG (pulse generator) surpasses the crane motion control accuracy of the conventional DC drives.  This newer technology is physically more compact, electrically and mechanically simpler, and provides much lower operational noise levels compared to DC drives.
                                                            

Rail-Mounted TRANSTAINER Cranes

Rail-Mounted TRANSTAINER cranes typically have a 40 LT capacity; however, greater hoisting capacities can be engineered to suit a customer's specific needs.  Powered by either a diesel electric generator or a cable reel, these units are available in gauges up to 200 feet with additional coverage possible by incorporating single or double cantilevers. These cranes operate on rails and are easily adapted to computer automation.single or double cantilevers.

Rubber-Tired TRANSTAINER Cranes

Rubber-Tired TRANSTAINER cranes are diesel-electric powered yard transfer cranes with capacities up to 50-LT and spans up to six containers wide plus a truck lane.  A significant attribute of the rubber-tired TRANSTAINER crane is its ability to travel in any one of four directions, as well as pivot on one wheel.  This maneuverability allows it to operate in more than one area of a container terminal yard.
