TRANSTAINER CRANE

Transtainer cranes are PACECO Corp.'s trademarked container yard cranes. These cranes work within terminal yards, where they stack containers for storage and load or unload containers on trucks. Like PACECO's Portainer cranes, Transtainer cranes are highly durable, productive, and reliable. PACECO's Transtainer cranes have served ports throughout the world.


PACECO Corp. takes pride in being at the forefront of yard crane technology development. Like the PORTAINER crane, PACECO Corp. developed the world's first TRANSTAINER crane, and continues to advance yard crane handling with research and development. Despite the technological advancement, PACECO Corp. adheres to its principal of manufacturing reliable and durable yard cranes.

RTG and RMG Designs Available
Transtainer cranes are available as Rubber-Tire Gantry (RTG) or Rail-Mouted Gantry (RMG) cranes. RTG cranes are recognized as the more flexible, cost-effective design, whereas RMG cranes can help develop higher productivity and storage efficiency. RMG Transtainer cranes are available with Diesel Electric power or cable reel powered, whereas RTG cranes are Diesel Electric powered. PACECO staff can provide information to help select the appropriate design.
